CHONDROSARCOMA AND AYURVEDA

  • In Ayurveda the term ‘’arbuda” is used to describe a malignant tumour. According to Sushrut the three Doshas (Vata, Pitta and Kapha) when aggravated may develop a malignant tumour; especially aggravated Kapha and Vata Doshas. This affects the tissue, which might result in developing a malignant tumour. Asthi arbuda occurs when aggravated Doshas disturbs the normal functioning of asthi dhathu, comparable to the accumulation of toxins (ama) in the asthi.
